 Day 01: Arrival Delhi
As you arrive in Delhi for the start of the North India Wildlife Tour, you will be received by the warmest of welcomes at the airport from where you would be escorted to the pre-booked hotel of your choice by our very own tour representative.
Day 02: Delhi
Daylong sightseeing of Old Delhi and Lutyen's Delhi (New Delhi). Delhi is demarcated into Old and New Delhi. Old Delhi houses sightseeing locales such as Red Fort and Jama Masjid. New Delhi on the other hand is home to tourist hot spots like Lotus Temple, Qutab Minar, Raj Ghat, Rajpath, India Gate and moreEvening free to shop around busy Connaught Place.
Day 03: Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur. Afternoon tour of some interesting streets and squares of the Pink City to catch glimpses of the habitual patterns of its people which even include attending heart-rending prayers at Sri Govind Devji temple. Day sightseeing of the City Palace Complex later visits its colorful bazaars. Sunset view of Jaipur from imposing Nahargarh fort. Visit to a restaurant for local Rajasthani dinner. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur
Early morning excursion to Amber Fort which is set in a picturesque location. Amber is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Built in the 16th century by Raja Mansingh in red sandstone and white marble, the palace complex has some very interesting apartments. Jai Mandir, Sheesh Mahal, Sukh Niwas, Ganesh Pol and Temple of Kali are some of the prominent areas of interest. Elephants are provided to ascend the fort to visit the complex.
Day 05: Jaipur-Ranthambhore
Morning drive to Ranthambhore and check in at your hotel. After lunch move out to enjoy the open gypsy safari inside the park.
Day 06: Ranthambhore
Enjoy the morning and evening safari in open gypsy at Ranthambore National Park and spend time tracking tigers and viewing other wildlife attractions of the park. Overnight at the hotel.
 Day 07: Ranthambhore
Morning and evening Gypsy Safari inside the park. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08: Ranthambore-Bharatpur
After breakfast drive to Bharatpur. Afternoon kept free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09: Bharatpur
Early morning, have a completely rewarding experience of seeing an overwhelming range of birds during the rickshaw trip into the Keoladeo Ghana National Park. During the day take an excursion to Deeg to see the elaborate water palaces built by Raja Surajmal Jat. Before sunset you may visit the National Park once again.
Day 10: Bharatpur-Agra
Drive to Agra visiting the abandoned citadel of Mughal Emperor Akbar known as Fatehpur Sikri on the way. Finally reach Agra and check in. Remaining day at leisure.
Day 11: Agra-Jabalpur (Night Train)
Morning visit the unparalleled Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Later board the overnight train to Jabalpur. Night would be spent in your air-conditioned coach.
Day 12: Jabalpur-Kanha
On arrival at Jabalpur you will be transferred to your resort close to Kanha National Park. Remaining day at your discretion.
 Day 13: Kanha
The park is divided into two sanctuaries, Hallon and Banjar and is home to Tigers, Jungle Cat, Leopard Cat, Indian Spotted Chevrotain, Indian Pangolin and many more species of animals as well as birds. Morning and evening jeep safari at Kanha for tiger tracking, exploring the park's natural wilds or bird watching. Overnight at a wildlife resort.
Day 14: Kanha

Day 15: Kanha-Bandhavgarh
Leave for Bandhavgarh National Park (6 hr.). Arrival at Bandhavgarh by noon. Surrounded by a chain of over 30 smaller hills, Bandavgarh is the name of a scenic hill in the Satpura range of mountains and was declared a national park in 1968. Afternoon visit to the park in jeeps for tiger tracking. Overnight at a wildlife resort.
Day 16: Bandhavgarh
Enjoy elephant safari in the park during morning and evening. Overnight at a wildlife resort.
 Day 17: Bandhavgarh-Khajuraho
Morning drive to Khajuraho by surface. Guided tour of western group of temples.
Day 18: Khajuraho
Morning tour to Eastern group of outstanding temples. Remaining day at your discretion.
Day 19: Varanasi
Afternoon fly to Varanasi. At Varanasi, walking tour of a few Ghats and narrow backlanes to feel the pulse of this most sacred city of India.
Day 20: Varanasi-Delhi (Train)
Early morning boat rides on river Ganges to witness holy rituals on Ghats. A very spiritual experience! Day tour to Sarnath where Buddha delivered his first sermon. Later in the evening board a train to Delhi. Pickup from railway station and check in at your hotel.
Day 21: Departure
Full day is free. At appropriate time transfer to international airport for onward journey back home. The tour ends. |
