Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
As you arrive in Delhi for the start of the Taj Mahal Heritage Tour, you will be received by the warmest of welcomes at the airport from where you would be escorted to the pre-booked hotel of your choice by our very own tour representative.Overnight will be at Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi
Proceed for a full day tour of Old & New Delhi. After breakfast, commence on daylong sightseeing city tour of Delhi. See the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, the Raj Ghat, Shanti Van, India Gate, Laxmi Narayan Temple and Lotus Temple. You will also be driven past the Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhawan and Rajpath. Enjoy the DANCES OF INDIA in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
Early morning transfer for flight to Jodhpur. Reach Jodhpur and proceed to Jaisalmer by surface. Reach and check in at hotel. Overnight will be at Jaisalmer.
Day 04: Jaisalmer
After a relaxed breakfast proceed for full day sight-seeing tour of The Golden City - Jaisalmer. Explore the city of Jaisalmer with visits to the Jaisalmer Fort, carved sandstone havelis such as the Salim Singh ki Haveli and Patwon ki Haveli, Gandhi Sagar Tank and the Barabagh Hill. After lunch, visit the famous Sam sand dunes in the heart of the Great Indian Desert situated at the edge of Thar Desert through a camel safari trip. Its temple, fort and palaces are all built of yellow stone. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 05: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
Proceed in the morning after a leisurely breakfast and reach Jodhpur. Afterwards, embark on a sightseeing tour to Jodhpur's famous tourist attractions such as the Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada Memorial, Umaid Bhawan and Sadar Museum. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06: Jodhpur - Udaipur
Transfer to airport in the morning for flight to Udaipur.Reach and check in at hotel. Relax in the evening. Overnight will be at Udaipur.
Day 07: Udaipur
Proceed for sight-seeing tour of Udaipur after breakfast, stopping first at City Palace. Here you will marvel at rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, colored glass windows and inlaid marble balconies and the Peacock Courtyard. Also visit the lovely Sahelion-ki-Bari Gardens, the Jagdish Temple and the local folk Museum. Overnight will be at Udaipur.
Day 08: Udaipur-Jaipur
Breakfast will be at hotel. Early morning flight to Jaipur. After check into hotel, proceed for jaipur sightseeing of especially the forts and palaces of Jaipur with visits to Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort and City Palace as well as Hawa Mahal and Janter Manter. Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 09: Jaipur
Proceed for excursion to Amber Fort in the outskirts of Jaipur. Elephant ride ascent to the fort. Visit a rug factory and see the ladies at the intricate work or a gem factory and see the gem cutting and polishing process. Overnight will be at Jaipur.
Day 10: Jaipur - Agra
Proceed for Agra after breakfast. Enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, a historical town built by Akbar where you can see the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world; Jama Masjid and the tomb of famous Sufi saint Shaikh Salim Chisti. Spend the night at Agra.
Day 11: Agra - Varanasi (By Train)
Proceed for sight-seeing after breakfast, visit the world famous Taj Mahal, Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah built by Empress NOOR JEHAN in memory of her father (The interiors of which are considered better than the Taj), Chini ka Rauza, Agra Fort, Akbar's Fort at Sikandra, Dayal Bagh Temple, Jami Masjid and the Ram Bagh Lawns of TAJ MAHAL. In the evenining board a train for Varanasi. Overnight will be in the Train.
Day 12: Varanasi
Arrival in the morning by train and check into the prebooked hotel.Visit the numerous sacred ghats of Varanasi such as the Asi, Dashashwamedha, Adi Keshava, Panchganga and Manikarnika Ghats and witness the living traditions of one of the world's oldest and most important religions.
Day 13: Varanasi-Delhi
Enjoy early morning boat-ride on the pristine clear waters of Ganges.Transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. In Delhi proceed for the DINNER before reaching the airport for flight home with sweet memories of India. |
